So there I was at home last night, just waiting for the baseball game to end so I could watch X Factor and write my review about it for all of you lovely readers. But the game just kept going. And then it kept going. It went some more.
That’s pretty much what baseball does. They just play the game until the pitcher gets so bored that he just throws an easy hit because he wants to go home and sit on his too-fat-for-sports ass and knit or something.
The game finally ended. Woohoo! Let’s get this show on the road. Wait, what? Local news?!?! NOOOO!!!!! Damn you, low quality Fox local news!
Turns out, I could have easily found out that X Factor was moved from Wednesday and Thursday to Thursday and Sunday with a quick Google search, but seeing as how I know everything, I figured it would be on my TV eventually. Apparently not.
Does anyone actually watch these whole games, or do people just wait for the result to pop up on Twitter and then post the name of the winning team with copious amounts of exclamation points after it as if they’re so unbelievably excited that “their team” won? I’m leaning toward the latter.
Anyway, all that being said, sorry there’s no review today, but there was no show last night. I’m heading out of town this weekend too, so odds are I won’t be able to get a review for you for tonight’s show either. Hopefully I can do Sunday’s!
Until then, suck it, baseball.
